gdc-powerpc-linux-gnuspe software package provides GNU D compiler (based on GCC) for the powerpcspe architecture, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gdc-powerpc-linux-gnuspe
gdc-powerpc-linux-gnuspe is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gdc-powerpc-linux-gnuspe package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gdc-powerpc-linux-gnuspe *
You will get with gdc-powerpc-linux-gnuspe package name, version, architecture and description in a table
